Fall Fashion Fun

Fall Fashion Fun Lights Up Main Street

Half a dozen models  strutted their stuff showing off dozens of delicious fall fashions at the annual Lorraine “K” Boutique Fall Fashion Show recently. And the nearly 100 guests loved it!

Yushi, Tribal, Michael Tyler, ClaraLysse, Rock and IC. Lisette, Parkhurst, Noelle, Lysse, Comfy  and Coco & Carmen  - the  designer outfits twirled by.

Proprietor Lorraine McGowan (center) greeted every guest personally.

The evening event began with a lavish spread of unique hors d’oeuvres prepared by the talented Sue Goodridge, former personal chef to Mary Travers, singer-songwriter and member of the folk music group Peter, Paul and Mary.

Others chose their seats and chatted pre-show.

Waiting for the show to begin, some guests browsed the boutique pleased with the selection of unique gifts for home and hostess.

A serve-yourself bar offered a choice of popular wines.

The Show, narrated by McGowan was fast –paced and fun with door-prizes drawn after the presentation of every six or seven outfits. Following the show, in an unprecedented move, McGowan put everything in her shop on sale including the fashion show collection. It was shoppers’ heaven!

(Mark your calendar for next year’s show (last week in September).  If you can’t wait that  long the Lorraine K Boutique is located in  Clock Tower Square (477 Main St.)  and an  Anniversary Sale  is coming up.  Watch our EVENTS page.)
